As real Mexican, I am super picky when talking about taste. Capullo is one of the few restaurants that I can recommend as Mexican food.
Amazing presentations usually mean mediocre food, but that was absolutely not the case here. Great food, great atmosphere, and beautifully presented dishes. A wide selection of drinks and cocktails too.
Capullo is really good, the birria chicken wings was amazing, seafood taco plate was amazing the burrito was really good and big, definitely get your money worth with that and the drinks definitely going back!. ...
Reserved a table for 9 to celebrate my daughter and her boyfriend receiving their white coats.it was a very special evening for both families. The service as well as the food was above average. The server (I believe his name was Carlos) went way above and beyond to make this a special night for them. He was attentive, and all of the employees seemed to pitch in and assist. It was an extremely busy night in Walnut Creek due to a play that evening. The food was delicious. We had a couple of vegetarians, a child, and other adults. Everyone was satisfied. The chips and salsa were great and bottomless. The appetizer fundito was delicious. Fajitas, tacos, tamales, and kids burrito - all wonderful. The drinks were great as welll. I would highly recommend this restaurant in this quaint little town. Muy bueno!
We came here around 3pm on a Tuesday. Got the birria chicken wings(A MUST), the taco plate(which was 1/2 off on Tuesday), a carne asada burrito, mangonada margaritas and strawberry margaritas(also half off on Tuesday) Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. I plan to come back again soon!
If you're looking for bomb drinks this is the spot in Walnut Creek! Is a small place but is so worth checking it out. The ambiance is so welcoming, the staff is super nice and friendly they'll make sure you're well taken of. The drinks are the best I've had in California! And I've been everywhere in Cali. Make sure you ask for Cesar at the bar! He's such a great bartender, amazing drinks, immaculate service. We will drive over 30 minutes for this place any day of the week.
Husband and I went there for brunch, and we enjoyed eating here. We ordered chilaquiles, and have to say that they were very flavorful. We appreciate the authentic Mexican flavor.

Me and my wife stopped in on Christmas eve in the early afternoon. Not many people in and we had never eaten there. Got seated quickly. Wife ordered the burrito vegano and I got a al pastor burrito. The burritos were huge and the salsa that came with them was amazing and nicely spicy. We hadn't eaten breakfast so having a huge meal was nice, didn't need to eat much for dinner that night. I also had the Mexican mocha which was really nice. We came back a few weeks later on a Sunday, it was much busier and noisier but it is a small place and it was pretty full. We got seated and our server from last time came over to say hi and that she remembered us. This time my wife ordered the tofu fajitas bowl and I ordered the torta ahgada which I was warned was very spicy which was good for me. Food came out quickly for how busy they were. My torta was fantastic and the spice was right on, it cleared my sinuses that was for sure. Service both times was great and the food was spectacular. Will be coming back here often.
